It has been a while since I wrote anything on this blog. I have been doing a new challenge for myself so I thought I would write and attempt to keep myself motivated by doing so.
Losing weight is not easy in a normal life. It is that plain and simple. It takes work, dedication and work and motivation and more work!
I think we can all agree that losing weight when you are overweight is a good thing. I recently read an article which talked about seven reasons to lose that excess belly fat. You can check out the information from that article at: http://www.inhnews.com/year10/sept/sept1/view.html.
Another school year is in progress in some places and will be starting in our area on Tuesday, September 7. I believe we need to encourage our young people to be as fit as possible. Is is so easy to be overweight in our wired world where everything is at our fingertips. We need to encourage good/healthy eating habits early so they last a lifetime. Trust me it is a lot easier to NOT put the weight on in the first place than to have to take it off later!!
Here is a good link for alternatives to soda when you are thirsty. I have had one soda in the past six months and I don't really miss it although once in a while I would like to drink a soda. The problem with me is that if I start I will not stop. I drink unsweetened ice tea, milk and a lot of water.
